We have a firm booking for another open race at Glasgow University's sports grounds. Entrance fee of £15 and novices are encouraged to join the fun!

The only rules we will be strict on are those around video transmitters as they can ruin the day for other racers. We would encourage all participants to use either the IRC Tramp or the TBS Unify and to make sure that you have a quality antenna attached to them. If your video system is causing issues for other pilots then you will not be allowed to fly until those issue are resolved.

We also discourage the use of dipole and very short VTX antennae as the timing system was struggling to pick up some passes for those using them.

Sponsors so far are:

Glasgow University

VTX frequencies:

  • R1 (5658)
  • R2 (5695)
  • F2 (5760)
  • F4 (5800)

  • R8 (5917)

Please ensure that your equipment can tune to the above frequencies prior to the event to prevent delays or interference.
