On September 29 and 30, 2018, the Drone Champions League (DCL) will make a stopover at the Krone E-Mobilty Play Days at the Red Bull Ring (Spielberg) in Austria. While the official race dates focus on the competition and more than 30 pilots from all over the world take part in a breathtaking battle for victory, at the Krone E-Mobility Play Days there are racing drones to touch.
Several DCL pilots will demonstrate their skills and fly off on a course specially designed for the Red Bull Ring – for the spectators this means: experience drone racing up close! But watching is not just standing at the track. The so-called First Person View (FPV) can be experienced live, because the live video image of the drones is transmitted via radio to a video goggle, which the spectators can put on. More flies are impossible. And for all those who don’t just want to watch, there is a special training course on which you can fly.
But we will not lose sight of the idea of competition. With an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and a top speed of 140 km/h, the race drones will compete with other vehicles. Whether Formula E Bolide or electric motorcycle – speed and electromobility are in the foreground.
The experts of the Drone Champions League will be available to answer questions on both days of the Krone E-Mobility Play Days. All questions about drones racing will be answered and of course there will be professional help during the first flight attempts of the visitors.
